Successful Conclusion of 2nd MULTISOURCE Plenary Meeting in Leipzig

The 2nd MULTISOURCE plenary meeting came to a successful close yesterday, after an engaging and fruitful four-day event filled with updates, exchanges, inspiring talks, and visits among the project’s partners and advisory board members. Hosted by the esteemed Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ), the meeting proved to be a platform for knowledge sharing, brainstorming, and strategic planning.

Throughout the week, participants had the opportunity to provide updates on the progress of MULTISOURCE tasks, highlighting significant milestones and achievements. The team also engaged in dynamic discussions, paving the way for an exciting new webinar series scheduled for this September.

One of the meeting’s highlights was the unveiling of an innovative tool for the selection and pre-design of nature-based solutions (#NBS) for water treatment. This cutting-edge tool promises to revolutionize water treatment methodologies and enhance sustainability in the field.

In addition to the tool’s presentation, dedicated workshops were conducted, focusing on various aspects of the project, including pilot programs, business models, communications, and digital tools. These sessions fostered collaborative efforts and allowed participants to exchange insights, ideas, and best practices.
