Showcasing MULTISOURCE at IWA World Water Congress 2024

Pedro Carvalho from Aarhus University made a significant impact at the IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition 2024 in Toronto, where he presented the innovative ‘Installation for Water Storage, Treatment, and Reuse’ from the MULTISOURCE project. This global event, which took place from August 11-15, gathered thousands of water professionals, thought leaders, and companies to discuss pioneering science, technological innovations, and leading practices in water management.

Meanwhile, Maria Chiara Lippera from Helmholtz-Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ took the floor to present MULTISOURCE research on decision support tools for the spatial planning of nature-based solutions in urban catchments. Her insights provided valuable contributions to the discussions on sustainable urban water management, highlighting the role of nature-based solutions in enhancing urban resilience.
