MULTISOURCE, in collaboration with NICE NbS and CLEVER Cities is organising the cluster session ‘Discussing a decentralised approach with nature-based solutions for wastewater management’ on September 27, from 15:30 to 17:00.
The session will have interactive discussion centred around wastewater management and the integration of decentralised approaches with nature-based solutions.
In Part 1, comparative exploration of centralised and decentralised wastewater systems will be addressed. Real-world NBS examples will be shared, providing a tangible context.
Transitioning to Part 2, the spotlight will be on policy landscapes, with Lyon’s success story taking the forefront. This phase will unravel policy hurdles and incentives pertinent to decentralised systems. The essence of collaboration between cities and policymakers will be underscored, anchoring the discussion.
